The Best Black Tights Ever. Period.
With Fall here and Winter fast approaching it’s time to cover up those bare legs! Especially if your skin is the color of mine and will literally blind people upon sighting. I, personally, think that if you’re not going to go with a patterned tight, opaque is the only way to go. The problem with most opaque tights is that they are super opaque on your calves and ankles, but then gradually get lighter and lighter as they travel up your thighs; which gives the pleasant effect of your thighs trying to break free and gasp air. Not cute, people. Not cute at all.
And don’t even get me started on the subject of Spanx, those things are a torture device.
So, my friend, Brooke, had on the BEST looking black opaque tights the other day and I asked her where she found them, because her thighs definitely didn’t look like they were trying to break free (not that they are even big enough to try) and were perfectly camouflaged.
She told me she got them at Target and they came in a two pack for ten bucks! Ten bucks!! You better believe that I went out and bought them that day! I am happy to report that they fit perfectly and stayed opaque and consistently colored throughout the whole leg and best of all are super soft. I also managed to rip a hole in one pair the first day (I’m pretty clumsy) and they didn’t run on me at all. That’s quality.
